Such a lovely family owned Alpaca farm. Not only did we get to meet and greet the adorable Alpacas, the owners were welcoming and showed great hospitality. Best to go in dry weather but still a fun time. Definitely a must see hidden gem. LN, (London) November 2019
Booked the two hour experience as a birthday present for my husband. Myself and our son also went. Right from the start Mark was fantastic. A lovely friendly chap. Gave us loads of information about the alpacas. It was lovely to be stood amongst them when they came into the yard for food. When we went for the walk with the alpacas Mark was very informative and you could see his passion for his alpacas. A lovely clean place. Marks wife makes a lovely cup of coffee. Was lovely to see a baby alpaca who was only born yesterday. Highly recommended. Would definitely go again. ZB, (Taunton), August 2019
As a 20th birthday present, myself and my boyfriend enjoyed the 2 hour Alpaca experience this morning. The location was easy to find (using Google maps) and is set in the most peaceful and tranquil place. We arrived and were kindly greeted by Mark, the owner. We got to experience breakfast for the Alpaca's, including the 7 month old cria's! We also got to halter and walk the alpacas with a lead before heading to the fields. Mark is very knowledgeable and clearly has a wealth of experience with the animals. It is obvious how much love and care is put into the alpaca's well being. We were even offered tea and homemade cake whilst on our experience. The whole visit felt very relaxed and informal. I would very highly recommend Patou Alpaca's to anyone with a love for these incredible animals. A J (Wincanton) February 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed our two hour Alpaca Experience - a 16th birthday treat for our daughters and a couple of friends. Mark and Sue made us feel at home - the tea and biscuits were much appreciated. We learnt a lot about alpacas and enjoyed watching them demolish their breakfast in the barn. It was great to take the young alpacas (crias) for a walk and then walk around the fields - it’s such a beautiful location. We hope to be back in the summer! D H ( Wellington) March 2019
Me and my partner would highly recommend Patou for anyone even slightly interested in visiting. A lovely experience for anyone looking to get up close and personal to some delightful alpacas and learn all about them from a very knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly host. Getting to know the alpacas and walk them around the fantastic surroundings with some lovely cake to finish was well worth the great price we paid. JM October 2019
It is said “people don’t care what you know until they know that you care” (in the context of customer service and sales). I purchased 3 lovely alpacas from Mark and Sue almost a year ago. Aramis, Buster and Columbus. They are a complete delight and it makes my heart sing when I am around them! Mark has been exceptional with his support - travelling from his new home in Somerset up to Hampshire on two occasions to check on their welfare and progress. He really does love the business he is in, and it absolutely shines through. If you are contemplating buying alpacas, I cannot recommend Patou Alpacas strongly enough. You really will be looked after! PH (Hampshire) May 2019
